Did Stamkos just hint at being traded?

The closest thing to a real comment from Stamkos so far.

If Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos simply came and told the world he's not moving anywhere the issue would be settled, Stamkos has a no move clause and controls his destiny, but that's not even close to what he's saying.

Stamkos gave the closest thing we've seen to a real answer thus far when he was asked about his future in Tampa Bay today, and these don't sound like comments from a man he's sure he's staying in Tampa Bay, and forget the offseason, it doesn't sound like he will neccesarily be there past the deadline.

"The trade deadline is coming up in a couple weeks, I'm sure everyone will have some answers in a couple weeks when that comes," Stamkos said Thursday as per the Tampa Bay Times. "We've kept everything to ourselves and I know it (stinks) for you guys (media), I totally understand. But I think you can appreciate the way we've conducted doing business and whatever happens in the next couple weeks, there's obviously going to be some answers."

So if Stamkos is to be believed, it sounds like fans will have some answers once the trade deadline has come and gone, and with rumors that Stamkos rejected an $8.5 million offer from Tampa, a state with no state tax, and now these comments, it's starting to sound like a trade is not impossible.
