Did the Calgary Flames trade for the wrong player?

Seems like the Flames wanted someone else.

Fans of the Minnesota Wild likely let out a collective cry of joy when they learned that general manager Chuck Fletcher had managed to rid the team of goaltender Niklas Backstrom.

Backstrom was traded to the Calgary Flames, and not only did Fletcher get rid of Backstrom but he received David Jones in return, although he id also have to give up a Wild draft pick to get it done.

However a funny little accident that occurred in Calgary today has some wondering, jokingly of course, if Calgary made a major mistake in trading for Backstrom, thinking they were in fact getting a very different Nicklas Backstrom.

The Flames put the new nameplate up in their locker room but it seems like they may have been expecting a forward and not a goaltender, a former Capital and not a former Wild.
