Dominik Hasek planning run for President!

Believe it or not, but legendary NHL goaltender Dominik Hasek is reportedly planning candidacy for President of the Czech Republic in 2023. According to Czech language website idnes.cz, Hasek admitted that he’s considering a run for the Czech Presidency during a radio interview on Thursday interview with Radio Impuls.

Hasek noted that he still has a few years to decide, but he hasn’t ruled out the possibility.

“Now I have my job, which I really love and want to do it to the fullest. But what will be in two in three years? And then I’ll decide. Everything is possible.”

The 54 year old Hall of Famer is currently the brains and the spokesperson behind his own energy drink called, “Smarty”. It’s known for its… interesting ads. Like so:

Okay then… Presidential material right there. Then again… Donald Tr… nah, maybe we won’t go there.

In an informal poll put on by idnes.cz, nearly 80% of readers replied that they would NOT support Hasek’s run for President.
