The Carolina Hurricanes have been drawing all kinds of attention with their post game celebrations.

While initially there were some who did not like the post game antics of the Hurricanes, many pundits and former executives in fact were very critical of what they felt was conduct that did not belong at the National Hockey League level, those criticisms quickly died down as fans around the National Hockey League appeared to largely embrace the celebrations.

This has been especially true of the fans in Carolina who appear to have really embraced the Hurricanes since the antics begun, and although the team continues to struggle in terms of attendance there's no question that it has changed the appearance of the team from those on the outside looking in. Fans seem much more engaged than they did last season where the only remarkable thing about the Hurricanes fan base was just how few of them actually showed up to the game itself.

In spite of the seemingly positive turn in perception for the Hurricanes it appears that at least one man is extremely unhappy about the way they have been conducting themselves, and that man is none other than Don Cherry himself. Cherry absolutely went off on the Hurricanes post game celebrations during Coaches' Corner on Saturday and to say that he buried the Hurricanes would probably be the understatement of the year.

Cherry was absolutely beside himself in outrage and was even more shocked that all of this was allowed to happen under the guise of a straight shooter Rod Brind'Amour, the current head coach of the Hurricanes. Whether or not you agree with Cherry probably really doesn't matter as I imagine at his current age he has pretty much made his mind up and will not be changing it for anyone.
