Dramatic change in Ducks' coaching staff!

A piece piece leaves the team now.

The Ducks had a decent season and a nice Playoffs run, but the team still fell short of the only prize that matters, namely the Stanley Cup. Of course, a lot of people were disappointed in the end result, but none more than assistant coach Paul MacLean. After yet another heart breaker, he decided that Anaheim was no longer the place to be when he chose not to renew his contract with the team.

MacLean is no rookie, having won the Jack Adam back when he was head coach in Ottawa. He spent the last two years in Anaheim under Boudreau and Carlyle with decent results, but now he decided to walk away in mutual agreement with the management. It's a big loss for the Ducks as his experience and skills with the defensive squad will be missed.

Don't be surprised if he resurfaces somewhere else as head coach though.

Thanks for your work sir!
