Drew Doughty and Tom Wilson both in pain after knee on knee collision.

Two very big boys collided in a very painful manner on Thursday night. 

Los Angeles Kings star forward Drew Doughty and Washington Capitals tough guy Tom Wilson went knee on knee in a seemingly accidental play, an impact that left both guys looking like they were hurting.

Considering just how tough each of these players is you know that the mere fact they were showing any pain at all is a result of the fact that this must have been a very painful collision indeed.

While some might be quick to point to Tom Wilson's history as a dirty player in an attempt to blame him for this play, if anything it looked like Doughty stepped in front of him to cause the collision. Although again to be clear this appeared to be purely accidental.

To their credit both men stayed in the game, although Doughty did spend some extended time hunched over in the Kings bench as he attempted to recover.
