Ducks' affiliate receive highest honors!

One of the most important aspect of a NHL franchise is the AHL affiliate club. Most of the time ignored by the fans, it's the place where promising prospects get the chance to improve their game, get some experience and hopefully graduate to the NHL. 

Today, the San Diego Gulls, affiliated to the Ducks, received the President's Award for the AHL Team of the Year! 

The Gulls had a truly great year. It earned 93 points in 68 games and had a pretty decent Playoff run. The team improved a lot and it's great they get this award although they didn't win the year's title.
