Dying man reaches out to John Tavares to fulfill a wish for his daughter

Longtime Toronto Maple Leafs fan Justin Ellah is dying. The husband and father has Stage 4 cancer and has just one dying wish: to pass on a gift to his daughter before his time comes.

Ellah reached out to Maple Leafs captain John Tavares on Twitter yesterday, asking him to sign his jersey so that he can pass it on to his daughter as a keepsake.

As you might expect, the hockey world has stepped up to make Justin’s dream a reality. The Tweet thread is FULL of people who have reached out to JT himself with personal requests on Justin’s behalf.
