The hockey season is long gone for all levels of leagues, but there are still feedback coming out for some players. During the playoffs in the ECHL, Kalamazoo's defenseman Ben Wilson utterly destroyed forward Simon Denis with 7 cross checks to the back of the head following a routine play.

This one was pretty dangerous, to say the least. Cross checks are no picnics, but giving 7 in a row on the back of the head is totally irresponsible and dangerous. Wilson was suspended indefinitely following the sequence.

We learned he has received a 20 games suspension total, with 5 already purged last season and 15 additional games to begin next season.

Coming from a team captain, this attack couldn't be tolerated and he deserves every single suspended game he was awarded. These kinds of moves need to disappear from the sport and this was the right decision.
