Edmonton Oilers: Who's more likely to end up in Vegas.

According to Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal, the Vegas Golden Knights would be tempted to pick from the Edmonton Oilers, goaltender Laurent Brossoit.

"The Oilers, of course, are protecting Cam Talbot, which means Laurent Brossoit will be available. Vegas isn’t taking Jonas Gustavsson, who’s an unrestricted free agent July 1. The feeling is Vegas will take two veteran goalies and one youngster in the expansion draft, so Brossoit, by that criteria, is in play." as per Jim Matheson.

Here's an interesting point, when a team like the Oilers are able to protect most of their NHL core, why not go ahead and pick one of their blossoming available prospect.

Laurent Brossoit is having a career year with a save percentage of .927% and a goal-against average of 2.23 with the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL. A 6th-round selection in 2011, Brossoit's developement took a little longer than expected but he would be soon ready to be Cam Talbot's backup.
