One of the premier scoring forwards remaining on the trade market is drawing interest from a slew of contending teams.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, eight NHL clubs have submitted legitimate offers for Arizona Coyotes' forward Radim Vrbata. Considered one of the premier rental players left at the March.1 Trade Deadline, Dreger went so far as to state that a deal should get done on Wednesday. He added that the Coyotes can expect good return for him, as his production has been impressive this season.

The 35-year old Czech native is a pending unrestricted free agent and carries a cap-hit of $5 million dollars plus bonuses. In addition to his base salary, Vrbata will be owed an extra $250,000 per playoff round he participates in this postseason.

The team's interested in acquiring Vrbata are all believed to be playoff bound, and whichever club lands him will have to account for that extra money. While team's are permitted to exceed the salary cap because of bonuses, each dollar will be counted toward the cap in 2017-18.

If a long playoff run is in the cards for Vrbata, he could seriously cash in if sent to a potential Stanley Cup contender.

In his very first season in the desert Vrbata has recorded 15 goals and 32 assists for 47 points in 62 games.

A prime offensive force for a team looking to get over the top for a run at hockey's ultimate prize.
