Ellis sacrifices his body yet again.

If one guy has earned the reputation of being a true warrior, it's Ryan Ellis. The small defenseman has been hurt so many times this season we lost count, but he always battled through the pain to help his team reach this climatic Game 6. Tonight, he made no difference in his playing style and this happened. 

In case you've never played ice hockey before, the pucks are kept frozen to improve the handling. Thing is, frozen rubber is very hard and it hurts a lot when you get hit in a relatively unprotected area. Ellis skated back to the bench in pain but kept on going. 

On top of it all, Ellis is playing through an undisclosed upper body injury and is all around banged up. What a trooper!
