Embarrassing picture of MacKinnon emerges ahead of Game 1 against the Sharks

The San Jose Sharks have been used to controversy since the end of their first round series against the Vegas Golden Knights - we thought we’d inject some on the Colorado Avalanche’s side to balance things out. 

On Friday, hours before the puck will drop in the first game of the series between the Avalanche and the Sharks, a Reddit user posted a controversial picture of Colorado star forward Nathan MacKinnon to get people talking. 

And it has worked. 

The Reddit user, LermaBern, explains that the picture was taken prior to MacKinnon’s draft year when he was convinced to take a picture holding up  a This is Sharks Territory sign. 

The Reddit fan found the best time to reveal this precious picture that has gotten fans of both teams talking ahead of tonight’s Game 1.
