The blockbuster trade that sent P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Shea Weber has not stopped making headlines.

This time, Subban’s new teammate James Neal sang the defenseman’s praises when speaking to nashvillepredators.com:

“He’s a guy that gets under your skin, and plays the game well... it’s better having him on your team than playing against him.”

He added: “He has a great shot, great hockey sense and great ability to do good things with the puck. He’s a distributor and a goal scorer and he does it all.”

Neal’s enthusiasm is shared by general manager David Poile, who told the Tennessean: “I traded for P.K. Subban, the player and the person… I don’t want him to change.”

Subban will certainly be more embraced in Nashville.
