Getting your head slammed into a pane of glass is enough to make anybody a little peeved.

So it was understandable to see Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson retaliate after receiving a blindside hit to the head at the hands of Dallas Stars forward Ales Hemsky on Sunday night.

The questionable hit left Ericsson bloody and angry. He immediately grabbed Hemsky and punched him multiple times for his irresponsible hit. Unbelievably, the only player penalized on the play was Ericsson for roughing. The Red Wings killed off the minor penalty, but one has to wonder how Hemsky got off scott-free.
