Evander Kane: Sham Lawsuit

In his counterclaim, Buffalo Sabres' forward Evander Kane is stating that the 21-year-old woman who alleges that he attacked and seriously injured her is nothing more than harassment on her end.

According to The Buffalo News, Kane believes that the woman is only trying to ruin his reputation, calling Rachel Kuechle’s lawsuit a “sham brought for the sole purpose of defaming” him.

There’s no word yet on just how much damages Kane is seeking.

Kuechle is claiming that he assaulted her in his hotel room last December, even if Buffalo police concluded that nothing illegal had taken place at the time.
