Fan rushed to hospital after falling from balcony at NHL game.

The National Hockey League and the Florida Panthers are investigating an incident that took place at the BB&T Center on Wednesday night.

According to a report from The Associated Press, a fan who was in attendance during the match up between the Panthers and the Toronto Maple Leafs fell from the balcony and was knocked unconscious when he struck the ground.

The fan was immediately transported to Broward General Medical Center and has thankfully regained consciousness, although the extent of his injuries from the fall are currently unknown at this time.
