Fan-written poem about Ted Lindsay to be hung in Wings' dressing room!

While no one will ever forget the Production Line across the hockey world, the passing of Ted Lindsay marked the end of an era at the start of the month. Known as one of the most famous scoring lines to ever play, the Production Line was made up of Sid Abel at centre, with Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay on the wings. Lindsay was the last surviving member of the line with Howe passing away in 2016 and Abel passing in 2000. 

Thousands of people filed through Little Caesars Arena to pay their respects to Lindsay on March, 8th and two fans brought something the Red Wings simply couldn't part with. A father and son duo wrote a lovely poem in tribute to Lindsay and the production line and it is extremely moving and powerful.

According to the son, who goes by the Reddit username Berbaw06, the Red Wings accepted the poem (which had been made into a plaque), and will be hanging it up on the Red Wings' dressing room wall. 

The fan believes his father was able to get the plaque to Chris Osgood and from there the plaque was added to dressing room wall in a dedicated area saved for former player tributes. 

What a great moment for the father and son, but most importantly to the red Wings organization that will deeply miss Mr. Lindsay.
