Fans mercilessly roast the new Flyers and Penguins Stadium Series jerseys

Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field will play host to the next instalment of the Battle of Pennsylvania when the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins take it outside at the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series on February 23rd.

The last time the two rivals played outdoors the Flyers went with a black and orange jersey that was a slight nod back at the Legion of Doom era Flyers teams of the 90s while the Penguins threw it back to the early Super Mario days, including gold helmet.

However, the teams unveiled their Stadium Series jerseys for the upcoming game on Friday and while the uniforms had been leaked last week, it did not stop fans from completely roasting them on social media.
