The National Hockey League fans have spoken and have voted for the NHL's "Top Team Video" of the season.

Now you might have expected a video heavily involving some NHL players given the award category that we are discussing here but a surprising and adorable young man stole the show this time around and took home roughly a third of all votes. This time the award goes to the Washington Capitals franchise for their "Mite of the Nite" interview, but if we are being completely honest here the star of the show was Mite's hockey player Jackson Friedlander.

Friedlander had scored a pair of goals while putting on a show on the big Capitals playing surface and was full of energy and super excited to be interviewed in spite of the fact that he claimed to be "shy" while conducting the interview. The young man went on to describe things like how Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin was his favorite player, a big surprise I know, and he also shared some details about his favorite pet Tarantula, including its feeding habits.

All in all I would say this was a pretty good pick, and one sure to put a smile on your face.
