Russia and Finland earned their ticket for the gold medal game and it should be a tight one between these two bitter rivals.
It wasn't easy for these two teams, but they played really well defensively and both held on to a 2-1 win.
Finland beneficiated from 2 quick goals during the second period , one coming on the power-play and shutdown the Swedes the rest of the game.
Russia did approximately the same thing to team USA, thanks to a superb effort by Yegor Korshkov.
Finland and Russia won their respective game after allowing their opponent to take a 1-0 lead in the first period.
The gold medal game is schedule for 1:30 pm, Eastern time and the Bronze medal between Sweden and USA will be on around 9:30 Eastern time.
