Finnish head coach to use World Junior Championship trophy for newborn son’s baptism

Finland are World Junior champions after defeating both Canada and the United States in stunning upsets at the World Junior Championships and life couldn’t get much better for head coach Jussi Ahokas.

Ahokas and his wife Elina welcomed their newborn son into the world during the tournament last week in perhaps the busiest week of their lives. Because of the tournament  schedule Ahokas did not meet his son until he was four days old, but cameras were on hand at the airport to catch his introduction.

Another good story to come out of all this? Jussi and Elina have agreed to use the World Junior Championship trophy as a baptismal font. In other words, the newborn boy will be baptized with water from the golden chalice. How cool is that!?
