First rounder Miller admits on ice he doesn’t know what the rules are

This is hilarious. Fans are not the only one confused with the NHL’s new rules set at the start of the 2019-20 season. There might be too many rules to follow now, even for players on the ice. 

It seems like that the message Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller wanted to share on Wednesday night during the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

As his teammate Jordie Benn touched the puck with his hand to bat it back down on the ice, Miller kept looking around to see what to do next. Penguins players started to huddle around him and Miller admitted he didn’t know what to do.

On the video below, thanks to the referees’ microphones, we can clearly hear Miller say : “He touched it! I don’t know what the rules are…”

The Sportsnet broadcasters couldn’t help but laugh at his comments, and we have to admit this is pretty funny.
