Flames arena staff troll hapless Oilers for final regular season game!
Twitter

The Calgary Flames have two games left to the regular season calendar and it ends on Saturday with a game at home in the Saddledome against the Alberta rivals the Edmonton Oilers. While the Flames probably want to finish the last stretch with a couple of wins, it seems like the team is already focused on the playoffs after the clinch a spot in the postseason with a 5-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks last night.

So why not use this great achievement to taunt the Oilers a bit?

This is exactly what the Flames arena staff have decided to go as they have chosen to paint the Stanley Cup Playoffs graphics on the ice ahead of schedule, which means they will be on the ice for the Oilers to see on Saturday night.

Here is a picture of the ice at the Saddledome, posted by Bardown on their Instagram account:

The Oilers have once again failed to clinch a playoff berth this season. With three regular season games to go, Edmonton currently sits 11 points of the last Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, where the Colorado Avalanche currently stands. The Oilers are 30 points behind the Flames...

The Flames will surely want to end the season on a high note and they have the support of their arena staff who have just brutally trolled the Oilers.

Can't wait for Saturday!
