Jiri Hudler might not be having the season he wanted, but he was a huge part in the Flames making the playoffs last season.
That doesn't matter anymore because he is now on his way to Florida. The Flames sent a piece of the top line to the Panthers in exchange for a 2016 2nd round pick and a 2018 4th round pick. Hudler had 31 goals and 45 assists last season. This season he has only scored 10 goals and 25 assists. He is a UFA at the end of this season and with such a big youth movement underway in Calgary, chances are he might not have been resigned by the Flames.
Good luck in Florida Jiri, thanks for the 4 seasons you gave us.
