Flames prospects ignite at World Junior Summer Showcase
Keystone Press

The World Junior Summer Showcase allowed hockey fans to get a little taste of what the future of their favorite NHL club looks like. One team in particular who that a good showing was the Calgary Flames. Up front and on the blue line, the Flames had several prospects that made a statement and played very well for their respective counties.

Juuso Valimaki (Finland) - A big presence on the blue line. He was involved in many rushes for Finland and displayed why he was chosen in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Adam Fox (USA) - A skilled defenseman who will be a big part of Team USA's defending champion role at the upcoming World Juniors.

Dillon Dube (Canada) - He played for Canada last year at the World Juniors, and proved that he deserves a bigger role on the squad this year.
