It's been a roller-coaster so far for the Calgary Flames going from losing streak to winning streak, to losing streak back again. Gulutzan's formation is currently is in a bit of a dry spell as the team managed to score only 5 goals in 4 games. The head coach went with a gutsy move last night by separating the dynamic Monahan/Gaudreau duo and the team went scoreless.
There is no update on the Sean/Johnny reunion (or not) but the Flames did call up forward Hunter Shinkaruk. Shinkaruk, a former Canucks has been tearing it up in the AHL so far with 4 goals and 3 assists in just 7 games. An hometown product, Hunter is expected to play tonight on one of Calgary's top line.
