Flames signed two promising players today.

The Flames are on fire these days (lame pun sadly intended). However, every hockey clubs is about more than just on-ice performance. You need to have a competitive system with minors players performing. Calgary's organization understands that and signed two guys for entry-level contracts today.

First, goalie Tyler Parsons had the chance to put some ink on the page with the organization. He received a 3 years contract offer he couldn't refuse.

The 19 years old has a goal allowed average (GAA) of 2.37 and a save percentage of 0.925 this year, with the London Knights. He's 6'1'' and 185lbs and was a 54th overall pick by the Flames back in the 2016 draft.

The second player put under contract today is Ryan Lomberg. He received a two-ways, two years contract offer.

The 22 years old is 5'9'', 191lbs. He's know for being very physical and intense. He actually plays with the Stockton Heat and has 19 points in 57 games. Most notably, he has 115 penalty minutes thus far this year. He was never drafted, so this signature is a huge achievement for him.
