Everyone in Vegas loves Marc-Andre Fleury. Scratch that: everyone is the National Hockey League loves the Golden Knights star goalie.

And it’s easy to tell why teammates and rival players love the guy: he always looks like he’s having a blast on the ice. We saw during the 2017-18 eason how he was able to crack up during important moments of the  game when he tickled the ear of Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler in his crease during a playoff game.

On Wednesday, Jean-Francois Chaumont of the Journal de Montreal shared a hilarious article on Fleury and his funny antics on and off the ice. We saw earlier this season how Fleury played a trick on San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns, giving his stick to a fan during the game and how he ruined former Penguins teammate Kris Letang’s pregame routine in Pittsburgh.

However, none of these tricks beat the one he pulled on former teammate in Pittsburgh Ryan Malone. Fleury revealed what he did to Malone after a team party back in 2007. This is translated from French:

"My best yet most awful trick goes back to a long time ago. Probably back in 2007, but I'm not sure. It was our end of season party. It was May and it was getting hot outside. I had asked the chef of the restaurant to give me a box with leftover fish from the kitchen. I had an idea in mind. I went and hid the fish box under the driver's seat of Ryan Malone's truck. We had gone out and he had left his car in the parking lot so we didn’t drive. I managed to get his keys to slip the box under the seat. The next day, it smelled horrible! I think that to this day he still does not know who hid the box. I never told him. I never confessed. I just did!”

Wow. That’s bad, but so funny!
