We have a minor trade to report between the Predators and the Flyers.

Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher acquired a 2nd round draft pick from the Arizona Coyotes yesterday when he made the decision to move down in the draft, and now he has used that very same pick to do exactly the opposite, this time moving up. According to a detailed report over at Cap Friendly, the Flyers have traded that 2nd round draft pick (45th overall) to the Nashville Predators along with a 3rd round draft choice (65th overall) that previously belonged to the New Jersey Devils.

In exchange the Predators have allowed Fletcher and the Flyers to move up 11 spots in the draft, giving the Flyers a 2nd round pick (34th overall) that also once belonged to the aforementioned New Jersey Devils.

It's hard to imagine how Predators general manager David Poile found time to get this done after the blockbuster trade he pulled off earlier today.
