Flyers first round draft pick dealt in minor league deal.
Another deal out of Philadelphia.
HockeyFeed
The Philadelphia Flyers had a very busy day on Wednesday, first completing a trade that sent both Luke Schenn and Vincent Lecavalier to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Jordan Weal and a 3rd round draft choice.
While that was certainly the most notable trade of the day in the Flyers organization it wasn't the only one, Travis Konecny has been traded from the Ottawa 67's to the Sarnia Sting, a player the Flyers drafted in the first round of this year's draft(24th overall), this despite the fact that Ottawa 67's general manager Jeff Brown slammed the press earlier this month after rumors circulated about such a trade.
It's still unclear at this moment what the details of the deal are exactly, news does not seem to be forthcoming at this time but we will try and update you as soon as it becomes available.
