The Montreal Canadiens are something else this afternoon. The Habs promised to win for head coach Claude Julien, who was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday, underwent a heart procedure and was sent back to Montreal to rest.

And the players want the best for their head coach and it showed. The Habs led 4-0 in the second period and managed to stop the Philadelphia Flyers from cutting their lead on a 5-on-3 power play, especially thanks to star goalie Carey Price.

However, Flyers’ Travis Konecny wanted to blame his stick. The forward missed a great chance on an open net, but couldn’t find the back of it and flipped out when he got to his team bench.

Konecny was so angry that he started banging his stick on the board in front of the bench, but couldn’t even succeed in breaking it.

Result: he looked like an idiot, and needed to be calmed down by teammate Jakub Voracek, who could only push him onto the bench with his stick, still intact.

The Flyers needed almost 17 minutes into the first period to register their first shot on Price and it will take a lot to beat the star goalie in this game it appears.

So, change your stick Travis if you think it can help, but clearly, this one didn’t want to deal with your anger. Oh and yeah, folks are laughing at you now...
