Flyers provide an official update on James van Riemsdyk injury

The Philadelphia Flyers have officially announced that forward James van Riemsdyk will mis 4-6 weeks with a hand injury.

The 30 year old van Riemsdyk was having a great season for the Flyers with 19 goals and 40 points in 66 games. He managed 27 goals and 48 points in 66 games last season, his first season back with the Flyers after signing a five year, $35 million deal in free agency.
