In their last game, the Minnesota Wild earned a crushing 7-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Friday. Today, they get set to host the Dallas Stars in a matinee matchup. The Wild will look to keep the momentum going after earning points in their previous 8 games and winning 5 of them.

An important player for Minnesota will make his return to the lineup. Marcus Foligno has fully recovered from his injury and will feature in his first game since his injury. That means that Ryan Donato will be a healthy scratch this afternoon. His 3 goals and 6 points in 24 games this season is a bitter reminder of the Charlie Coyle trade and its impact on the Wild's depth.

Foligno will take Donato's place on the 4th offensive line alongside Victor Rask and Ryan Hartman.

Alex Stalock will be the starting netminder this afternoon and Kahkonen will be his backup as Dubnyk is still by his wife's side after the tragic news of her illness. Kahkonen was set to start the game against the Senators on Friday, but Boudreau made a last minute change and stalock was the one who got the start. Many fans were keen to see Kahkonen play a second game after an impressive debut against the Devils where he allowed only two goals on 34 shots and fought hard to get his team the win.

Here is Minnesota's projected lineup for this afternoon's game according to NHL.com correspondent Jessi Pierce:

Forwards:

Jason Zucker - Eric Staal - Mats Zuccarello

Zach Parise - Mikko Koivu - Kevin Fiala

Jordan Greenway - Joel Eriksson Ek - Luke Kunin

Marcus Foligno - Victor Rask - Ryan Hartman

Defensemen:

Ryan Suter - Jared Spurgeon

Jonas Brodin - Matt Dumba

Carson Soucy - Brad Hunt

Goaltenders:

Alex Stalock

Kaapo Kahkonen

Ryan Donato, Nick Seeler and Devan Dubnyk will be kept aside for today's game. Greg Pateryn is still recovering from a core muscle injury.
