For the second straight year the New York Rangers are the NHL’s most valuable franchise. Before the Rangers took their spot, the Toronto Maple Leafs were at the top of the Everest since 2006.
Forbes has the Rangers are currently listed at $1.25 billion while the Islanders are valued at $385 million. A disturbing difference for two teams who are playing 5 miles apart.
