Former Blackhawks to have his number retired
Keystone Press

Former Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres defenseman Brian Campbell will have his number retired by his former junior hockey team, the Ottawa 67s (OHL), announced this week. Campbell played 310 games (regular season and playoffs included) in juniors, registering 251 points.

Campbell, 38, retired at the end of last season, after 14 full seasons played in the NHL. He was drafted 156th overall by the Sabres in 1997. He also played for the San Jose Sharks and the Florida Panthers. The Canadian defenseman played 1082 total games, registering 504 points. He added 44 points in 107 games.  He won the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks in 2010.

Who doesn't remember this MASSIVE hit he delivered on RJ Umberger of the Philadelphia Flyers in the playoffs of 2006?
