Former first round pick leaves NHL for KHL

It was announced yesterday that former first round NHL draft pick Quinton Howden has signed a contract with HC Dinamo Minsk in the KHL.
Howden was drafted 25th overall by the Florida Panthers in 2010 and was signed by the Winnipeg Jets last season where he spent most of his time in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose. Howden played in 97 career NHL games and put up 17 points.
