This is insane levels of toughness, even by the normal standards of toughness expected of you in hockey.

According to a report from NBC Sports former National Hockey League first round draft pick Wojtek Wolski is close to making a comeback despite the fact that he suffered a brutal injury in October of 2016.

Wolski, a former Avalanche, Coyotes, Rangers and Capitals forward, went head first into the boards when he attempted to break up a play, and that resulted in a devastating set of injuries to his neck and back that resulted in him leaving the ice on a stretcher. For an idea of how bad things were, Wolski had two broken vertebrae in his neck, spinal chord trauma and a concussion, and there was some fear he would never play again.

However according to an Instagram video that was published online, Wolski has already begun preparing for next season, clearly he believes that he can bounce back from an injury this bad.

We hope he makes it, and even if he doesn't he deserves our respect because he is a warrior for even trying.
