Former first rounder has huge chip on his shoulder after being traded!

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Nathan Beaulieu will face his former team, the Montreal Canadiens, for the season opener on Thursday. It will be the first time he sees his former teammates since the trade that sent him to Buffalo this summer. 

The 24-year-old blue liner admitted that he still has a chip on his shoulder and holds a grudge against the Canadiens.

The former first rounder, who was selected 17th overall by the Habs back in 2011, was traded to the Sabres on June 17th, in return for a third round pick. 

His bad attitude in the team's locker room was rumored to be the reason behind his trade to Buffalo.

He will surely want to prove the Canadiens they were wrong to ship him out... and for so little!
