NHL GM reacts emotionally to Crosby's concussion.

By now, you've probably heard about Sidney Crosby's injury. After a nasty sequence, he received a cross check to the head and left the third game against the Capitals on Monday. Since then, we learned he suffered yet another concussion and his status for the remainder of the Playoffs is still uncertain.

Of course, everyone in the league saw the sequence, but one guy took it especially hard. According to reports, Ray Shero felt nauseous after seeing The Kid laying on the ice.

“I was about 20 feet away from the TV. I didn’t know who it was… At first, I thought it was Bryan Rust.”

But then, he looked closer.

“When I saw the replay, honestly, I felt ill … I really felt ill. I haven’t felt that way in a long time.”

Apparently, he had personal reasons to feel that way.

“You know, it brought me back to the outdoor game and having gone through all that with him. I mean, about that time, my son suffered a concussion right after that and was out of hockey for a long time.”

Now the Devils' GM, Shero still feels emotionally attached to Crosby and his old crew, who brought him the Stanley Cup back in the days. GMs are tough negotiators, but some of them are still human inside!
