Former Leaf James Reimer threatens to take a shot at Auston Matthews.

Former Toronto Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer is a pretty funny guy.

As Leaf fans will know, during his tenure with the organization Reimer wore the number thirty-four on his jersey, and as Leafs fans will also know that number has now been claimed by a player you might have heard of before, first overall pick in the draft and the National Hockey League's leading scorer Auston Matthews.

When Reimer was asked about Matthews stealing his number he gave a hilarious response, threatening to attack Matthews just before their game on Thursday.

"It's terrible. I can't believe the kid did. Maybe I'll slash him in warm-ups tomorrow"

Of course Reimer is only joking here, and it's not only funny, it's a sign that he's in good spirits for his comeback to Toronto.
