In a very interesting development former Jack Adams award winner Bob Hartley has made some comments about this year's finalists for the award.

The three finalists for the Jack Adams, the annual award given to the best coach in the NHL over the course of the regular season, were Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock, Edmonton Oilers head coach Todd McLellan, and Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella. While all three men are deserving nominees, Hartley feels two other men should have made the list.

According to Jean-Charles Lajoie of 919 Sports, Hartley stated that he felt both head coach Guy Boucher of the Ottawa Senators and head coach Mike Sullivan both deserved to be on the list of finalists .

While he did not add any comment to the Boucher situation, he stated that he felt Sullivan did not receive the credit he deserved due to the strength of his roster.
