Former NHL enforcer Donald Brashear has reportedly been arrested and charged in his hometown of Quebec City, Quebec with criminal mischief and possession of narcotics.

The former Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and New York Rangers pugilist was arrested back in June after allegedly breaking a window at his former residence. Police found cocaine on him at the time of his arrest.

One of the most feared NHL players of his generation, Brashear put up an incredible 2634 penalty minutes in 1025 career NHL games. He holds several team records with regards to penalty minutes. Unfortunately, the 47 year old has fallen on tough times since retiring from professional hockey.

He was recently ordered to pay nearly $200,000 for unpaid mortgages and his company Brash Properties 87 was forced to declare bankruptcy in 2018. Brashear did not appear in court for the above discretions and has not given a statement regarding his most recent arrest.
