While he has been confined to the American Hockey League this season, former National Hockey League enforcer Tanner Glass says he's not done in the NHL.

Glass is in the final year of his contract with the Rangers and was sent down to the AHL after being placed on waivers earlier this season and he seemed destined to remain there, but Glass has different ideas. He says he's coming back to the NHL and if it's not with the Rangers then they need to make sure he gets a chance with someone else.

" I still think I have good games and good years ahead of me and I am hopeful of getting the next promotion from the Rangers or someone else."

Glass stopped short of demanding a trade, but it's clear that he feels other NHL clubs will give him an opportunity, although the fact that they passed on him when he was on the waiver wire could suggest otherwise.  That being said cup contenders looking to add some grit to their line up could do worse than a guy with 60 Stanley Cup playoff games under his belt.
