One National Hockey League legend is starting to sound like a grump old man.

After stating earlier this week that he felt Montreal Canadiens P.K. Subban would have received a slash to the head "back in his day" former Canadien Guy Lafleur is at it again, this time making the Sharks the target of his ire.

“To me to see the Sharks with the long beards, I think it’s a disgrace for hockey,” Lafleur said as per Stu Cowan of The Montreal Gazette. “I hate it. It’s not a good image for the NHL. I don’t mind a guy wearing a beard, but to his belly … enough is enough. The team’s managers should put their foot down. They can’t see the puck (laughs). That’s why they’re struggling.”

Lafleur didn't stop at the beards either, he also called the Sharks desire for a championship into question, likely a far more difficult comment to swallow for the members of the Sharks, especially from a former player like Lafleur.

“I’m very disappointed the way the Sharks are playing right now compared to the series before. I don’t think they really want the Stanley Cup."
