After having played in Germany last season, Brandon Prust is looking to make a come-back in the NHL

It hasn't been all glory for the former NHLer since his departure from the Montreal Canadiens. Around the same time last season, it was being reported that he had obtained an invitation to the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp, a stint that would end just as abruptly as it would start.

This time around, Prust is hoping to get another chance to play in the National Hockey League by suiting up for the Los Angeles Kings

As can be seen in an Instagram post shared by the player himself, the 33 year-old seems to be hard at work in preparation for the team's upcoming training camp, and if we are to believe his citation, he's looking to leave his mark.

Throughout his career, Prust has suited-up for the Calgary Flames, the defunct Phoenix Coyotes, the New York Rangers, the Montreal Canadiens, and the Vancouver Canucks. Mostly recognized for his role as a power forward/grinder, the London, Ontario native has played 486 NHL games during which he amassed 115 points and an incredible 1036 penalty minutes.
