Former Detroit Red Wings defenseman and tough guy Mike Commodore has been retired from the NHL since 2012 and has made headlines for his ongoing and never-ending feud with former coach Mike Babcock. He has blamed Babcock for the end of his career, often taking to Twitter to attack him using all sorts of different names.

But Commodore is making headlines for different reasons this time around.

Just for kicks, the hulking former defenseman has spent some time exploring new career opportunities recently.

What has he been up to? Driving for Uber, apparently:

“I don’t mind driving. I like to meet people and I like to talk to people. I’ll definitely do it again, one night a weekend or maybe even during the week,” he told Detroit Sports Nation.

Interesting, to say the least, considering he made over $20 million in his NHL career…
