If you haven't already heard, former Mighty Ducks actor Shaun Weiss, who played goaltender Greg Goldberg in the Mighty Ducks movie and its sequels, has fallen on hard times. Weiss was arrested last week after being found inside a home that wasn't his while allegedly high on crystal meth. It wasn't his first arrest, but a friend has started a GoFundMe page in the hopes that it will be his last.

According to Drew Gallagher, Weiss has been dealing with depression since the loss of both of his parents. He turned to drugs to try and get away from his pain. Gallagher says it wasn't long before Weiss was sleeping on his couch and then the streets, where he would often get beaten up and have his belongings stolen. Gallagher is now attempting to raise $25,000 to pay for Weiss's drug rehab, although that is only the first step. He will also need to convince Weiss to seek the help he needs. At last check, Gallagher had raised close to $7,500.

Weiss, now 41, was found by police inside a car which was inside of a garage of a home in the Marysville, California last week.

“Weiss forced entry to gain access into the vehicle by shattering a window,” the press release read. “Officers noticed shattered glass on the ground and observed that the passenger window to the vehicle was broken. Officers ordered the male out of the vehicle and took him into custody.”

In July 2017, Weiss was sentenced to 150 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for petty theft. He served just 12 days in jail due to overcrowding. Five days after his release, Weiss was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, in Burbank, California and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. He was arrested again on the weekend of August 3, 2018 for public intoxication in Oroville, California. Following that arrest, he declared he was entering rehab.

The Mighty Ducks series is being resurrected on Disney's streaming service, Disney+. Emilio Estevez is set to reprise is role as Coach Gordan Bombay. So far, no other former Mighty Ducks actors have been attached to the series. Unfortunately for Weiss, it's doubtful he will get that chance unless he can make some major changes in his life.

Besides The Mighty Ducks movies, Weiss has a long list of acting appearances on his resume, including recurring roles in The Tony Danza Show, Boy Meets World, Freaks and Geeks, City Guys and King of Queens. We're hope he accepts the help he needs and gets his life back on track.
