Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected left winger William Carrier from the Buffalo Sabres in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Carrier didn’t make the cut for the Sabres.
In 41 career NHL games, he has produced five goals and eight points.
