Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected Griffin Reinhart from the Edmonton Oilers in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Reinhart didn’t make the cut for the Oilers.
In 37 career NHL games, he has produced two assists and just as many points. He played only one playoff game last season, in which he recorded one assist.
